I’m Linda.
I write and edit things.
It’s a good life.
There are many ways to introduce your brand.
Here, let me show you — using me as an example.
Who? (Persona)
When I was eight, I started writing and then kinda just kept going. I’m a native speaker in English and Slovak, which gives me the perfect excuse when I can’t think of the name of that thing. I’ve written to sell, inform, inspire, entertain... but I live for brands ready to play.
What? (Proof)
I blinked a few times and bam, I’ve got a decade of writing experience in a smorgasbord of industries. I've helped shape the identity of several startups and am the sole voice behind STRV, a digital product company with partners like Porsche, Barry’s and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Why? (Mission)
Studying journalism in NYC, I reported on the streets before transitioning into copywriting. It felt versatile, collaborative. There’s a freedom in content marketing; you can construct a universe, take on a magnetic identity. Help people, make them think, laugh, improve their lives. What a cool thing to do.
How? (Process)
Storytelling is powerful. Copy is meant to speak to you, not to huff and puff big words. When writing, I aim to sound like a human telling a story. Behind all copy, that’s all there is: someone eager to share something special. It’s my job to keep that pure intention on the surface, instead of burying it beneath buzzwords.
For whom? (Advice)
Scouring portfolios trying to find the copywriter? Step one is requiring total mastery of the language; don’t settle for less. After that, jump straight to intuition. Who will capture what you’re trying to shout from the rooftops? Find a pro whose writing connects with you and you’re golden. Because chances are, that connection means you get excited about similar things — like your brand.
Wait, what? (Radical candor)
I’m infuriated that I'm not Taika Waititi, have a profound passion for commas, hate forced praise but adore a heartfelt high-five… and have edited this page so many times, it’s a wonder anything’s left of it at all. But hey, writing is editing, right?
